Italy lifts travel ban for Sharm El Sheikh

Ministry of Tourism announced that the Italian State has, since few, amending travel warnings for Egypt and the abolition of the prohibition of travel to Sharm el-Sheikh.

This comes the culmination of the continuous efforts of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Tourism to show the true image of the destination of the Egyptian tourism and Egypt hosting a lot of delegations and tourism events Italian reflecting the security and safety of tourist destinations, in the light of intensive meetings and communications between the Minister of Tourism Hisham Zaazou and Italian Ambassador in Cairo Mauriteso Massari. 

On his part, Minister of Tourism Hisham Zaazou, expressed optimism on the Italian authorities to cancel travel warnings to Sharm el-Sheikh, and a week after the German authorities Oadhae cancel travel ban for Sharm el-Sheikh, pointing out that Italy is one of the most important tourist markets to Egypt and occupies the fourth place in terms of the number of tourists, the first country achieved a figure of one million tourists to Egypt in 2004, which reflects the passion of the Italians Egyptian destination, pointing out that the number of tourists who visited Egypt in 2013 from Italy amounted to 504 110 tourists have made 4,708,426 nights.
